When Laney asked me if I did video and would shoot her upcoming song called “no fear” I was so excited but at the same time so nervous because I was still dabbling in video and had lots to learn it felt like. There has always been a stirring in my heart for videography for a long time now. I just never really believed in myself and trusted the gifts God has given to me to go for it full blast. I am a challenger and love learning knew things and do things that get out of my comfort zone. Before this shoot I prayed to God to give me creative direction for this video. Sometimes i look at other creatives or Pinterest to get inspired from for ideas! But this time I felt in my heart to just come to Jesus and have him help me with this vision because I just felt like I wasn’t really feeling creative at all! Jesus loves when we call on his name for help and guidance in any situation we are in. Even if it seems silly it’s not silly to him. You just saying his name is enough for him. In my mind I felt like I had to have special gear or equipment for this video. I was was even thinking of getting a drone at one point (that I can’t afford at the moment lol) I didn’t know what the weather was gonna be like the day of the shoot or what to really expect but I knew i had to just let go and trust Gods vision and direction with what I already got. Its really simple we don’t need to overthink our creativeness or doubting ourself when we have the ultimate creator of the universe that made you and I and everything around us. Going to him for help is one of the best tools a creative can have. This video I feel like brings so much simplicity and sweetness to my soul and I hope it speaks to you in way to draw closer to him and know that he loves you and cares for you deeply and wants to work with you in what you are doing. He is the God of all knowing. I am so proud of this song and what it means @heylaneyrene your heart is simply beautiful love you and thank you for trusting me and making this video for you sista friend.
