Ooops. Sorry we were away. Our ISP was down due to a cut fiber.
But the line provider @cogeco had been able to dispatch technicians of their own and of a contractor, who traveled out of the area, on the Saturday... of a holiday weekend. They repaired a hard-line restoring service to 3+ towns. Not buildings - towns, in less than three hours.
That's 3... as in half of six ...
