🚨SHARE WIDELY🚨The arrest of unarmed, peaceful Indigenous youth is SHAMEFUL. Indigenous Youth are not disposable. The Vancouver Police Department is not aloud to drag young Indigenous femmes away for standing in solidarity with Wet’suwet’en. This can’t keep happening. This entire country is wrestles as a result of the state trying to push pipelines through unceded, unsurrendered Wet’suwet’en land. Youth aren’t safe in police custody. Elders aren’t safe in police custody. Woman aren’t safe in police custody. 2Spirit people aren’t safe in police custody. These cops that took Danielle Guerrero work for the same precinct that allowed infamous serial killer Robert Picton to operate unobstructed for years and years, stealing countless Indigenous woman. These police aren’t here to protect the peace, they’re here to protect profit. The Vancouver Police Department is racist. Premier John Horgan is racist. Justin Trudeau is racist. Canada is racist.
