Let’s talk about responsibility.
I take full responsibility for myself. Always... sometimes it might take me a minute... in the heat of the moment. Lol
However I am fully aware that responsibility always comes back to me.
The way I react has nothing to do with another person. I stopped saying ‘you made me feel this way.’ Because they didn’t. That’s not on them.
The way I feel is not at all because of my external world. It is all internal.
The way I behave is all about my own stories and perspectives.
Every. Little. Part. Of my day comes down to me!
Yes, things that are out of my control are going the happen... this isn’t about control. It is about taking responsibility. And I am the only one who is responsible for how I deal with the things that are out of my control.
I am constantly learning and growing and I definitely do not even come close to always getting it ‘right’.
However, one huge shift that occurred for me was when I finally stepped out of the space of victim, stopped blaming anyone or anything else for my circumstances and completely took responsibility for it all.
This is one of the most empowering things I have done.
It allows me the wisdom to know that I am the creator of my reality.
It allows me to remain calm in the middle of the storm (sometimes. Eeep!) and continue to come back into a space of love and gratitude.

Please be responsible for you. Don’t give that power up to anybody else. It is such an amazing thing to own. @olivianachle
