On my 21st birthday my boyfriend of 2 yrs took me to Austin, TX with his sister. His mother lived nearby so we went there for the night. It was the first time I was completely plastered. He had to carry me through the door. He layed me on the living room carpet where I first met his mother. I complimented her on how good the carpet felt when I rub my hands all over it.
I've been married to her son for 10 yrs. We went to her house last weekend to visit her.
When she did get new carpet she made sure to save me a small section of the old one as a memento.
