We are currently in STANDARD time. Saving-Time is in the Spring when "they" need to throw you off balance for a few weeks.

The 34+ other countries don't need to change, because of the lazy people who think they rule the world, want to do things backwards.

First, it helps to understand time zones.
Time Zones are like different parts of the world that have their own clocks showing different times. The Earth is like a big ball that spins around, and as it spins, different places get sunlight while others are in the dark.

To help everyone keep track of time, we divide the world into 24 time zones. Each time zone is usually one hour apart from the next. For example, when it’s 12 PM (noon) in New York City, it’s 9 AM in Los Angeles because Los Angeles is three hours behind New York.

In some places, like in Europe, the time can be different too. When it’s 12 PM in New York, it’s 6 PM in London because London is five hours ahead. This way, everyone knows when it’s time for lunch, school, or bedtime, no matter where they are in the world!
