Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect for:
Windsor - Leamington - Essex County
At 12:03 AM EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.

This severe thunderstorm is located near Harrow, moving northeast at 30 km/h.

Hazard: 90 km/h wind gusts and nickel size hail.

Locations impacted include:
Essex and Cottam.

Driving conditions will likely be difficult.

Take immediate cover if a thunderstorm approaches. If outside, protect yourself from flying debris and hail.

Emergency Management Ontario recommends that you take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.

Severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
