Dancing with the light ✨

A couple of weeks ago I took part in @olivianachle ‘s dancing with the light online photography workshop and it was truly inspiring. It really re-ignited my passion for this work.

She portrays photography in such a different light. One that I really identify with as I am a very intuitive, self-taught photographer.

Here are some of the major learnings I took from the course:
🌙 Photography is finding a balance in-between light and dark, feminine and masculine, movement and stillness.
🌙 Photography is co-creation between you and your muse (whatever that may be).
🌙 Part of you is in the photo even though you are not in it.
🌙 Photography is movement. You move your body to find more space, more angles, more light.
🌙 Photography is energy.
🌙 Photography is how YOU see the world.
🌙 Photography is about being seen. Just as you are.
