Defining what is acceptable & not.
I’m going to keep being me.
Celebrating my body through artistic raw self expression with 0 fear of being judged.
It’s taken me years to be in this place of deep self love & empowerment.
The world can sexualize me.
I’m a sensual person by nature.
The world can try to shame me & say I’m seeking attention.
I don’t have time for self loathing & the only thing I’m seeking is freedom.
Let’s redefine why women show their skin.
Is it because we are sluts, whores, that’ what society would have us believe.
No, it’s because of years of hiding our bodies & thinking we are not good enough we finally realize our worth.
We finally see how beautiful & powerful we are.
We embrace our natural Selves.
Men too should feel empowered in their skin. For they too are shamed in different ways.
Know no matter your height & weight you worthy & deserving. Your soul is what defines you.
To the people who make shaming remarks, even when they try to hide it within a tease, I see your insecurity & hope you find the self love & empowerment that I have discovered within myself for it is one of the greatest feelings in the world. I hope you also know that your remarks can cause major damage to those who are working their way to this kind of love & empowerment. Your words have the influence to steal someone else’s worth due to your lack of. If you believe in humanity push your own insecurities aside & embrace your sisters & brothers with support.
If you are reading this & you are struggling with self love, if you shame your body, & hate yourself every time you see your appearance in the mirror please know your fight is not alone. I know how hard this internal battle is. I suffered from years of anorexia, of not eating enough & over exercising to the point of causing serious injuries. I went through stages of hiding my body & not wanting pictures taken of me. Please know no matter your shape & size you are fucking beautiful. You are fucking worthy. You deserve to love yourself. You deserve to feel empowered in your skin. Always my deepest love & support. xxx.
