PURE HAPPINESS!!! 😄🥾🌿🤟The last two days have been absolutely INCREDIBLE!! It's my first time hiking in MONTHS due to the massive flare up of my chronic illnesses. I'm thankful to say I'm feeling ABSOLUTELY FUCKING AMAZING!!! Also incredibly thankful for @hiking.utah 💕Sarah & I first started out as IG friends. Then at the beginning of the year we took the plunge & met in person for a hike - which is always a bit nerve wracking meeting someone from who you only know from social media 👀 We INSTANTLY hit it off. 20 minutes into our first hike we were laughing so hard we were crying, spoke body hair, & since we both forgot our hiking cleats we ended up saving each other from falling on the ice by giving our asses a push up 😂 Now what was IG friends have become real life best friends. Here's to more adventures, laughs, hugs, real talks, silly talks, love youz, & leaches… I meant less leaches 😜

It's funny but I'm starting to see a pattern when it comes to those I consider to be my closet & dearest friends; the first time meeting each other or reconnecting over several years passing we end up spending a great deal longer with each other on that first meetup than we had planned to. During that time chatting all guards are broken down in the first few minutes & the instant feeling of “I'm safe, happy, free & me with this person”. Everyday I'm beyond thankful for the best friends in my life who are such lights in my life, who are more than friends but also family, & who touch my soul with their soul on such a deep level. Getting a little waterworks right now as I write this… After a shitty 2020 & half of 2021 due to a combination of shitty health & shitty fake “friends” which lead to a fucking terribly shitty mental break, I'm just beyond thankful to feel - to be happy again, to be surrounded, supported, & loved by the real ones in my life.

To my best friends, thank you for touching my life, for loving me for me, for never manipulating or using me, for raising me up, for making laugh, for providing me with a safe space when life is painful, for understanding my health stuff, for helping me to be the best version of myself, for being you. LOVE YA'LL SO MUCH!!!
