Since my nature walk excursion and photoshoot I’ve been pretty fatigued this week but thankfully my body didn’t go into a chronic pain flare which shows wonderful improvement. I’ve been taking the time resting and recovering, editing photos, reading, watching documentaries, and cuddling with my kitty. Along with tending to ant bites which my body really didn’t like but thankfully didn’t go into a crazy flare. Only some minor sickness; flushing of my skin, slight fever, and the bites becoming inflamed where they resembled boils. But In the past bug bites would cause nausea, dizziness, weakness, fainting, often triggering my chronic pain along with my mast cell activation syndrome. I would say the worse about this time was getting ridiculously hot, the bites burning, and needing to blast the air conditioner… but overall huge improvement. They are also healing very nicely too. I have a few scars from insects bites in the past; the worst being from a brown recluse spider which I felt really bad for the spider since it must have found a comfy space among my blankets until my leg appeared. And yes when I found it I carefully got it into a jar and released it outside. Brown recluses though poisonous are not aggressive; they only bite when they feel threatened or disturbed. I wasn’t going to take my revenge on the little one for getting scared. I feel very grateful that my body and immune system are strengthening; truly beyond happy with the progress.
