Mommy,
I love you more than I could ever put into words but I will do my best. You mean the universe to me. I truly can’t imagine my world without you in it. You have always been my safe space, my home, and therapy animal lol. Thank you for always providing me with unconditional love and support. Thank you for being such an incredible role model who helped shaped me to be the woman I am today. You are so incredibly resilient, incredible, and have such a beautiful soul. Thank you for breaking the cycle of abuse that was passed down through the generations. Thank you for having me despite your fears of being a bad mom. You have overcome so many challenges and continue to battle the ones in our present moment in time. You are a superhero to me. You could have let the terrible moments in your life shatter you. You could have stopped being present for yourself & for all those who love you but instead you chose to continue on and rise. You often say you feel so weak but you are so strong. The fact that you can be here for your family, friends, community, and for yourself shows how much of a powerhouse you are. You fight daily for remission against your own chronic illnesses and pain. You fight daily against depression and anxiety. You fight for a life you love to live. If that is not a powerful person then I don’t what is. Thank you for also continuing to fight for me. I truly don’t know where I would be without you by side. You are one of my greatest advocates and provide me with so much hope, strength, support, and love. You always remind me in my darkest moments that this life is worth fighting for. You help me see my worth everyday. You help me face my personal demons. You share parts of your journey and experiences to show me I’m not alone in mine. You helped me to understand that “mistakes” are life lessons we learn and grow from. You have never judged or shamed me. You have always encouraged and celebrated me. I know not everyone gets to receive the great gift of having a mama like you. I treasure and love you so much. You are my best friend and hero. I’m beyond proud to be your daughter.
