Surgery went AMAZING!! Recovery is going GREAT!!

Massive love & gratitude to my incredible doctor/surgeon Shea Samara for providing me with such amazing care. Thank you for being with me on this journey with interstitial cystitis for the last eleven years. I truly don’t know what I would have done or where I would be without your expertise, kindness, empathy, & being such a strong advocate in my life. You are truly a bright light to me & I’m sure a light to all your patients + to everyone who knows you. Bunches of hugs & love!

Big thank you to the nurses & anthologist who kept my spirits high as we joked around, had a lot of laughs, & who created a safe space for me. You all were so wonderful & I cannot thank you enough for helping me to feel incredibly at ease both before & following my procedure. You all are rockstars!

Tremendous love to my family who are helping me through my recovery & regaining back my strength with each day. Thank you for always being my greatest advocates & providing unconditional love & support on my journey. It’s been several years of ups and downs, seeing me both at my best & my worst. Thank you for never giving up on me, for always being by side, motivating me to continue to fight for my life & to never give up on my dreams. I’m beyond lucky to have you as my family, you mean the universe to me. I love you so very much!
