Every Day is Earth Day โค๏ธ๐
Thankful to celebrate, honor & advocate for our incredible planet that is home to such a beautiful diversity of life. Though we should treat every day as Earth Day, today is a beautiful reminder of how we should serve, protect & love our Earth. Bringing us together to create connection with each other & our world, to take positive action, raise awareness, inspire change, & make a true global impact together.
To help further awareness & inspire each other I would absolutely LOVE for you to share in the comments below what actions you take to help our Earth. Remembering that small daily actions create a large impact.
Here are some ways for the conservation of our Earth:
Be an advocate. Speaking up is one of the most powerful things we can do. Talk to friends, neighbours & colleagues & get them to make positive changes too. Speak up, speak to everyone, & make your voice heard.
Reduce, reuse, and recycle. Cut down on what you throw away. Follow the three “R’s” to conserve natural resources & landfill space. Cancel plastic.
Volunteer. Become stewards by organizing or volunteering for cleanups in your community.
Educate. When we further our own education, we can help others understand the importance & value of our natural resources.
Conserve water. The less water we use, the less runoff & wastewater that eventually end up in the ocean.
Plant a tree. Trees provide food and oxygen. They help save energy, clean the air & help combat climate change.
Shop wisely. Buy less plastic & bring a reusable shopping bag. Support eco friendly products that are less damaging to our environment. Shop thrift & improve our environmental footprint.
Eat sustainable. Food production is a major driver of wildlife extinction. What we eat contributes around a quarter of global greenhouse gas emissions & is responsible for almost 60% of global biodiversity loss.
